Session One Studios is an independent game design company specializing in tabletop games. Our first game is Limelight, where players assume the roles of high school students who share a deep love of music. These young people have created a band to showcase their unique talents and are committed to the common goal of becoming successful. There are other influential voices, however, threatening to derail those plans. Family, outside friends, schoolmates, teachers, and even strife within the band’s close circle, are all sources of relationships which create obstacles to achieving that big break in the music business. Will they be able to successfully overcome these issues and remain loyal to each other, or will these problems eventually tear the group apart?
